Dear St. Martin of Tours Parishioners,

This Lent we will be kicking off something our parish has desperately needed for some time now ever since Margaret Baumgartner moved away:

It is high time we reinstitute a Bible Study once again.

Screen Shot 2020 02 05 At 1.45.38 PmBeginning the first Tuesday evening in Lent, St. Martin of Tours will be offering a 6-week Bible Study!  The topic will be Matthew, chapters 5-7: Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and his discourse afterward in which he explains in detail what it means to be a child of God. The workbook we will be using (titled, quite appropriately, “How to Be Happy”) includes the Gospel text and superb questions for reflection.

This Bible Study will not just enlighten the mind but also nourish the soul. This is why we have chosen it to commence the revival of our Bible Study.

Each book costs $7.95, so I ask you to register.  Contact the office by Monday, February 18 so I know how many books to order (SMT will foot the bill.)

Classes will be held at 7 p.m. in Runge Hall on Tuesday evenings of March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, and April 7. Refreshments will be served.

Join us!
