Dear St. Martin of Tours Family and Friends,

During times of transition, there is fear. There is anxiety. This fear is the result of the lack of faith that has settled upon this world. “Dearest Jesus, I am so weak! Please help me! How shall I, so prone to anxiety and stress, to possess unshakable and confident faith?”

Here are five spiritual practices we must appropriate into our lives so that when the hour comes we shall find – to our amazement! – that we have become trusting and fearless:

  1. Jesus must be the center of our every day. Upon rising, let the first words from your lips be to offer Jesus your day. Then everything in your day can belong to Him and be blessed by Him. Each morning we must rededicate our lives to Him.
  2. We are encouraged to attend daily Mass. And we are reminded to attend Mass with attention and devotion. Recall the two dimensions of prayer at Mass.
    1. Sacrifice: We offer to the Lord our sacrifices, sufferings, weakness, sins, and brokenness in union with His Sacrifice.
    2. Sacrament: We receive from the Lord his Resurrected Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity for the healing of our bodies, our souls, and of our spirits; and we thank Him for having granted us salvation and life!
  3. The Family Rosary, too, is to be encouraged in every home. So many souls today have forgotten the promises of Our Lady to families who pray the Rosary together every day. The family which prays the Rosary together will be granted strength, unity, direction and protection from Heaven.
  4. Love of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Do not think that you can do without her help. As Christ came into the world through Mary, so too all graces are distributed through her hands. Do not think you are above devotion to Our Lord’s Mother! Only blessings and purity come from Our Lady. Jesus only blesses those who love His Mother.
  5. The Sacrament of Confession must be practiced with regularity. Each soul must meet with a priest, the representative of Jesus Christ, in order for sacramental graces to be obtained. This is necessary for each soul to receive the vast amount of grace available to the world at this time. If a soul has not received this sacramental grace, they will not feel the peace that Heaven intends to make available. Do you lack peace? If you have not believed in the necessity of the sacrament of Confession, now is the time to believe. Now is the time to receive the peace God so desperately wants to bestow upon you and through you. Please think of others, too!

Do these five things and grace shall be opened to you. If we do our part, Our Lord and Our Lady will do theirs! Heaven will remove our anxiety and grant us an unshakeable, supernatural faith.

Do not delay! If a terrible disaster should descend upon mankind or the Church appear eclipsed and evil to have won, only those who will have remained steadfast in the above three practices will know the Truth: God is in control – not man, not Satan. We have nothing nor no one to fear. God will communicate to us the paths we are to

go. God will use us mightily for the salvation of souls. We shall become signs of hope for those around us. Finally, our reward in Heaven will  be great.

May these words help us all to attain reasonable happiness in this life and perfect happiness in the next –
