Dear St. Martin of Tours Parishioners and Friends,

I want to take this opportunity to share with you this one very powerful—extremely powerful—prayer.

The Great Prayer or Unity Prayer was given in the approved messages to Hungarian visionary Elizabeth Kindelmann (1913 - 1985) who revealed to the Church the devotion of “The Living Flame of Love.” Our Lord Jesus taught Elizabeth this new prayer and commanded her to propagate it. Our Lord’s promise is by praying this prayer that “Satan will be blinded by it; and because of his blindness, souls will not be led into sin.”

In other words, by means of this prayer, which asks for the unity of our souls with the soul of Jesus Christ, when we recite this prayer and Satan looks at us, he doesn’t see us, because all he can see is Jesus. The demons are literally blind to our presence, so they cannot attack us.

We can also pray this prayer over other people for their protection! In fact, this prayer has been used by exorcists in cases of emergency when they don’t have time to get permission to perform an exorcism from their bishops. They have recited this prayer and without fail the person who is possessed or vexed or obsessed by the demon becomes docile and peaceful.

The prayer has been granted the Imprimatur of the Catholic Church by Cardinal Péter Erdő of Hungary.

The Great Prayer
The Unity Prayer

Given May 4, 1962 by Jesus Christ to the Servant of God Elizabeth Kindelmann

May our feet journey together,
May our hands gather in unity,
May our hearts beat in unison,
May our souls be in harmony,
May our thoughts be as one,
May our ears listen to the silence together,
May our glances profoundly penetrate each other,
May our lips pray together to gain mercy from the Eternal Father.
Amen.

I strongly recommend we memorize this prayer and pray it daily and whenever we or a loved one needs spiritual protection.

In the Love of Jesus, May God bless you all.
