Protecting God's Children

Before working or volunteering with St. Martin of Tours, it is the policy of the Archdiocese of St. Louis that all clergy, employees and volunteers whose service in the Church brings them into contact with children and / or vulnerable adults must have a regular background check conducted through the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for those who have lived outside of the state of Missouri. They must also attend a Protecting God’s Children Workshop and sign a Code of Ethical Conduct

What do you need to do?

- Attend a Protecting God's Children Workshop. Sign-Up HERE.

- Complete a Worker Registration Form and return it to the Parish Office.

- Commit to the Code of Ethical Conduct. Sign page 11 of the Code and return it to the Parish Office.

- Employees and volunteers who have resided outside the state of Missouri any time over the last five years will have to undergo a one-time national background check. Illinois Residents will have Illinois and Missouri background checks conducted every even-numbered year. If you have lived out of state, fill out this form and return it to the Parish Office.
