Dear Humans,
I’m almost always worrying.
When Daddy leaves, I worry. Maybe he’s not coming back. Or maybe he won’t be back for hours.
When he isn’t paying attention to me, I worry that I did something wrong.
I try to not worry by looking outside for squirrels. But I worry even then.
Daddy told me not to worry, but that he promises to protect me in every way he can.
He said as long as I remain near him, he will remain near to me.
“But it doesn’t feel like that sometimes,” I think to myself.
