Dear St. Martin of Tours Parishioners and Friends ~

Lots of good stuff happening, so Dash and I are taking a break from Pastor’s Pens and Dash’s Dens for a while.

See you soon!

I HOPE YOU ARE STILL PRAYING YOUR DAILY ROSARY We are already more than half-way through the 54-Day Rosary Miracle Novena, which means we are in the THANKSGIVING phase of the novena. We pray with childlike trust that Our Lady will hear our prayers. Please continue to pray for peace in our nation during these uncertain times, for the Church, and for the people of the whole world.

ST. MARTIN OF TOURS COOKBOOK: Keep our parish family recipes alive! The St. Martin of Tours Women’s Club is compiling The Official St. Martin of Tours Cookbook. We are asking any and all of you to participate by sharing your favorite. recipes, as many as you like.

Recipe sheets will be available, as well as a drop off box for your submissions, in the vestibule of church. You can also email recipes to [email protected]. Your name will be proudly displayed in the book, or you can submit anonymously. (Why not come up with clever names for your recipe, e.g. Gooslby’s Goulash?) Please submit your recipes by October 11th.

LOOKING FORWARD: Once mask-wearing becomes a thing of the past, we plan to have a POTLUCK/OPEN-MIC NIGHT featuring these recipes, with our parishioners (especially you “oldtimers”) being granted the opportunity to take to the mic and share your St. Martin stories.

HAPPY TO HELP! Parishioner and almost "Empty Nester," now looking to assist others with errands, household chores, gardening, etc. on some weeknights and weekends. Please contact the parish at 314-544-5664, and provide your name and contact information. No fee, just wanting to provide assistance to others that could use an extra hand. I’m Happy to Help!

St. Vincent de Paul wants to thank those who have donated to our pantry! You’ve always been extremely generous and the past two weeks have been no exception. Yet our pantry is still in need of dry goods, cans, and other essentials. Please continue to help us help our neighbors. May God reward you!
